Sam decided she fancied Tim - she came walking over to my desk at work and with a big grin on her face said "Right, i fancy Tim Chapman, im not tellin him, so you do it, but dont tell him i told you to say it" I looked at her and said "WHAT" - again she said "I fancy Tim" I said "Are you kidding, he works in I.T - you,ll have to talk to him about computers all night - But Sam being Sam decided that Tim was her destiny and i had to follow orders. So the plans for Tims capture were set in motion. I decided to tell Tim that someone on our dept fancied him, but that she didn't know i was telling him (I was always so convincing at telling lies). One sentence and i had Tim's attention completely, for about a week i made him suffer and would not tell him who it was, i would only give him clue's. From that day it was astounding how many of our pc's suddenly has network problems, he was always wandering past my desk and would say "Hi Sam - i'm just passing" I reveled in the fact that knowledge was so powerful, but could see it was driving him mad. So gave him the biggest clue towards the end of the week and said "OK enough, the person has a silver car with a private reg ! I would walk into the canteen or into reception and see Tim and all the I.T guys watching for a silver car" Unfortunately for Tim there were two people at T-Mobile who had silver cars with private reg's, and who's car did he see first - well it wasnt Sam's ! I looked up one day and saw him marching up to my desk scowling - He said "I cannot believe you have made me suffer all week and then i found out that the person who fancies me is over 50 and has the same hair colour as Phillip Schofield" As i had no idea what he was talking about i asked who he thought it was, when he said Sharon Peck instead of Sam, i burst out laughing and said "Ok ive had enough" Its Youel who fancies you - Oh and you should have seen the little smile that came on Timmy's face - he went skipping off into the land of the I.T boys and from that moment on i used to look over from my desk and see Tim sat at Sam's desk fixing a non existent problem every day while they stared at each other !!! It was only last week i found out when Tim did pluck the courage up to ask Sam out, he said "Would you like to go to a David Gray concert" and she said "NO". People would say i was direct and straight to the point, but no one held a torch to Sam in the dept, i can imagine the tone she said it in, and it still didnt put him off !!!! Thank goodness she didnt take my advice !!!!
