I don't think any two people have ever had an impact on my life as much as the two people i choose to call "My Best Friends" Sammy + Donna The three of us shared some amazing times and i have wonderful memories of our holidays, nights out and trauma's (usually men and usually me) Sam was with me for the three days i was in labour with Oliver now 4 years old, and was the first person to hold him - i was at her wedding - she was at mine! Looking back now, how on earth she made the trip to Las Vegas in Oct 07, i don't know. But if Sammy wanted to go somewhere or do something her illness came second !! I can truly say that Sammy has changed my whole perception on how i live my life - she had so little time, but yet so much for her friends, there was never one time in our ten years when i needed her and she wasn't there. Sammy and I were like two peas out of the same pod ! We were direct, opinionated (but always right) usually got our own way - and bloody worked hard - oh and we both couldnt drink ! the only difference was Sam found her soul mate in Tim(through me of course after i had vetted him and seen the BMW) and spent an amazing 6 years living life to the full and packing more into that time that some people do in a lifetime. I have only wonderful memories of Sam - and one of the last laughs we shared was when she said quite matter of factly - when im gone will you move in and marry Tim please !! Now there does come a point when you have put your foot down !
