I spent a lot of my childhood in South Yorkshire Buildings or 'The Barracks' and remember as kids 'our Nic' and Sam playing in Auntie Beet's yard or times spent going around to thier house. That seems so long ago and as we all grew up we sadly grew apart, bumping into each other on family occasions and the like. The first news I got that Sam was ill was a couple of weeks ago. I had no idea. From what was said at the funeral Sam certainly left her mark and that's good. There is an old red indian saying that goes 'a person is not dead while someone remembers them' and I suspect Sam will be living in us for many, many years to come. My thoughts and prayers go to her husband, family and friends. Godbye (cousin) Sam. I am proud to say that I have known you. Mike Kenworthy
